In the glorious South Devon countryside, minutes from the historic town of Kingsbridge on the Salcombe estuary and close to stunning beaches, West Charleton Grange offers stylish, luxurious and immaculate self catering holiday accommodation in five stone cottages and one wing of the house.

Set in a private ten acre estate, this is the perfect setting for a holiday in Devon.  A great place for a family holiday, a weekend with friends, a midweek break or special time away with a partner.  Or a break at Christmas or New Year, with friends or family.

For toddlers and young children swings, slide, climbing frame and tower, wooden wendyhouse and boys den, balls, small bikes and John Deere pedal tractors await in the half acre enclosed grass playfield.

For older children the short tennis court, basketball net and table tennis are a short stroll from their cottage.  

With just six cottages, guests tell us that they enjoy having the fabulous heated indoor swiming pool to themselves.  Steaming gently at 29/29.5 degrees C water and air temperature and open every day, all year.

Benches in quiet corners, terraces, tables chairs and garden umbrellas, steamer chairs and a barbecue area are scattered through landscaped grounds within sight and sound of the river and lake (all fenced for safety).  There is a secret garden to discover.

Travel cots, high chairs, stairgates, miniature chairs, games, childrens books, baby & child cutlery are provided in each cottage and many more items are available on request.

Small enough to be exclusive but with the chance to make new friends, the Grange is well located as a base to explore the South Hams.  Close to stunning unspoilt beaches, walks on Dartmoor and the South West Coastal path.  Nearby towns Dartmouth, Salcombe, Totnes and Kingsbridge have many individual shops and boutiques, family owned  butchers and delis and one off cafes and restaurants - offering a refreshing choice of places to shop and eat.
